At the CCMDP was commemorated the 63rd anniversary of the ensemble “Assembly” of Zall-Dardha

In the framework of the 100th anniversary of independence, Center of Culture, Media and Defence Publications, based on the Ministry of Defence’s strategy for a more active communication with the public and in cooperation with the artistic cultural association “Vala e Drinit” and Zall-Dardha municipality, in the district of Dibra, held today in the great hall of CCMDP, the commemorating activity of the 63rd anniversary of the ensemble “Assembly” of Zall-Dardha.
Present in this event were: Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces, Major General Xhemal Gjunkshi, chairman of the cultural association “Vala e Drinit” Mr. Kujtim Çerpja, mayor of Zall-Dardhë, z. Njazi Cani, citizens of the municipality of Zall-Dardha, military originating form this region and their family members, etc.
Initially, the participants visited the exhibition, which was opened in the main hall of the Center of Culture, Media and Defence Publications, with round about 50 photos of the ensemble “Assembly” of Zall-Dardha, where was presented the story and activity of the ensemble over the years.
Afterwards, the participants took part in the proceedings of the scientific session dedicated to the personalities of Zall-Dardhë and Reç region. The papers focused closely on the life and work of acclaimed composer, Muharram Xhediku, virtuoso folk singer Haziz Ndreu, leader for many years of the ensemble “Assembly” of Zall-Dardhë, etc. After the papers, a documentary dedicated to the ensemble “Assembly” was shown to the audience, which unveiled historical and cultural values over the years of Dibra region. In this festive ceremony did not lack the interpretations of songs of Dibra by artists of the ensemble, like Liri Rasha, Shaban Mziu, Qerim Sula, Caje Poleshi, Sherif Dervishi, Viktor Paloka, etc, who brought great emotions, taking many applauses of the spectators present in the event.
At the end of this festive event “Vala e Drinit” Association delivered diplomas to some of its representatives, who have given an outstanding contribution to the ensemble over the years. With “Recognition Diploma” was also assessed General Staff of the Armed Forces for the support on the development of the activity on the 63rd anniversary of the ensemble, at the Center of Culture, Media and Defence Publications. The diploma was handed to the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Xhemal Gjunkshi.
In his address MG Gjunkshi thanked all the organizers for this wonderful event. “It is to be assessed the way how this event was organized, so that in my personal point of view is really great. Zall-Dardha, Dibra has really wonderful people, as there has been, has and will continue to have wonderful talents, such as Liri Rasha, Qerim Sula, Caje Peleshi, etc”, said MG Gjunkshi. At the conclusion of his address, Chief of General Staff, MG Xhemal Gjunkshi emphasized his support and General Staff of the Armed Forces will never lack to organize activities which promote the historical and cultural values our people.
