Mr. Arian Starova since 21 October 2009 is Deputy Defence Minister of the Republic of Albania
Mr. Arian Starova was born in 26 September 1954 in Elbasan. He has completed the studies in Philosophy and Justice at the University of Tirana. He received his PhD degree in Philosophy in 1988. He was for many years instructor and has a busy scientific activity. From January 1991 he is an active participant in the political developments of the country.

Mr. Ekrem Spahiu is Deputy Defence Minister of the Republic of Albania since October 2009.
Mr. Ekrem Spahiu was born on 18 April 1960 in Kukës. He has studied at the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana. He has held and holds important political functions and is also engaged in important state tasks.

Since January 30, 2013, Mrs. Arta Musaraj, is Deputy Defence Minister of the Republic of Albania.
Prof. Dr Arta Musaraj, Ph.D, was born in Vlora, Albania, in August 28th, 1974. She is an Albanian scholar, academician, Full Professor in various European and Albanian Universities.
Prof. Musaraj has received her PhD degree in Economics, and Professor Doctor degree in Economics and Communication Sciences, has over 17 years of academic experience as an Adjunct Professor, Department head in a number of Public and Private Albanian Universities. Mrs. Arta Musaraj has been awarded the title of “Hononary Citizen of the Region”, issued by the Region of Vlora, as well as she is is holder of the honorary titles: “Gratitude of the City” and “Protagonist of the Year” issued by the Municipality of Vlora City.
