Defense Minister Arben Imami leaves for an official visit to Turkey

Defense Minister Mr. Arben Imami, after receiving the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Mr. Vecdi Gőnũl, left today for an official two day visit in the Republic of Turkey.
During his stay in Ankara, Defense Minister Imami will be welcomed at a special meeting of Turkish Defense Minister Gonul, where they will talk about the relations and cooperation between our two countries and armies, as well as other issues related to preservation of peace and security in the region and beyond.

Although rainfalls have ceased, the Armed Forces continue fulfilling their tasks in stabilizing the situation created.
Currently the situation in Shkodra continues to be critical.
6500 hectares of land are flooded, 108 houses are under water and 723 houses are surrounded and threatened by water mainly in the communes Ana e Malit, Berdic, Bushat and Dajç.
Water has reached 40 cm height in a road segment of 200 m in the vicinity of Gjo Luli Bridge and Dajçi curve.
