Minister Peleshi gives the "Medal of Gratitude" to the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee at the end of his term


The contribution of the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach for strengthening the relations of the Albanian Armed Forces with other allied armies, led Defence Minister Niko Peleshi to award him the "Medal of Gratitude".
During his visit to our country, which coincides with the end of his term as head of the NATO Military Committee, Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach was received in a meeting by the Defence Minister Niko Peleshi and the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Bajram Begaj.

Minister Peleshi described as very special the visit of the British general, who became chairman during the NATO Military Committee in Tirana, in September 2017.

Mr. Peleshi congratulated Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach for the leadership and professionalism with which he led for almost four years this important forum of the Alliance as well as for the achieved objectives.

Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach will hand over the post of Chairman of the NATO Military Committee to Admiral Rob Bauer, currently Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
