The Museum of Armed Forces has unveiled its new exhibits and surroundings

The Museum of Armed Forces has officially relocated to its new premises in Bërzhitë, marked by an inauguration ceremony attended by notable figures. Among the participants were Defence Minister Niko Peleshi, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Igli Hasani, Minister of Youth Bora Muzhaqi, former Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka, members of the National Security Committee, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Major General Manushaqe Shehu, and commanders from various forces.

During the event, attendees were introduced to the museum's new spaces, organized into five pavilions. These pavilions showcase a diverse range of exhibits, including objects, historical information, maps, and photos covering military history from the era of the Illyrians to the present day.

Minister Peleshi warmly receives the young representatives of Albania who participated in the NASA International Space Apps Challenge

Defense Minister Niko Peleshi welcomed a group of gifted young individuals from the "Chiron11" team, who earned recognition and nomination for an award in the international competition of the NASA International Space Apps Challenge. The jury, comprised of experts, selected them from a pool of 58,000 participants worldwide. These talented youths proudly represented Albania in this prestigious global competition.

"Cyber Security -Challenge for Defence and Security", Peleshi: We invest in new systems and human capacities

The theme of the conference organized by the Armed Forces Academy and the Military Scientific Research Institute was "Cybersecurity: A Challenge for Defense and Security," with the participation of Defence Minister Niko Peleshi.
Minister Peleshi addressed the conference, highlighting the cyber attacks that impacted Albania last year and discussing the valuable lessons learned by the state and institutions from these incidents.

Minister Peleshi at the U.S - Adriatic Charter Defence Ministerial: Albania will continue to contribute for peace and security in the region

Defense Minister Niko Peleshi participated in the Defence Ministerial within the framework of the US-Adriatic Charter initiative (A5), chaired by North Macedonia. The discussions focused on current security and defense issues in the Balkan region and beyond.

In a dedicated session, significant emphasis was placed on engagement within the initiative, the implementation of the Adriatic Charter's revitalization concept, participation in NATO missions, regional cooperation in security and defense, and contributions to global security.
