Press Release

The Albanian Government is determined to continue the fight against organized crime and narcotics removing Albania from black list where the previous government had introduced it. Assaulting the Armed Forces for offering logistic support to the State Police and to the Ministry of Interior in these operations means an assault to the State, protecting crime and drug trafficking. As for the Prosecution, we invite it to deepen its investigation in all cases where means or even worse, Commando and Special Forces of the Armed Forces are improperly used for gold research or protection of private businesses, such as the Wrestling Championship, without mentioning here the transportation of singers.

We assure the citizens that based on the laws of the Albanian State, the Armed Forces means will continue to support the operations in the fight against crime and narcotics, as well as in support of any civil-military action in their service. Therefore, we invite the representatives of the Democratic Party to distance themselves from the protection of traffickers, opium growers or any criminal they sponsor.
