Advisor to the Cabinet of the Minister of Defense since February 2022.

Florensa (Haxhi) Kovaci is an external advisor for innovation in the Cabinet of the Defence Minister since February 2022. Haxhi has a 15 years work experience, mostly in management positions in the Prime Minister's office.

Ms. Kovaci has a Bachelor degree and Master of Science (MBA) degree respectively in Business Management and International Finance from institutions of higher education in the USA and in France and holds a Doctorate in Economics with a focus on Public Administration.

She has worked for many years in the Prime Minister's office, and has covered areas such as economic development, national strategic programming, regional cooperation and innovation.

She held the position of General Director of the Development and Cooperation Programs Unit, in the Prime Minister's Office, and was responsible for drafting a number of national development programs in various sectors of the economy with a direct impact on the country's economic growth.

Haxhi has also been in charge of coordinating the regional economic zone and its action plan, focusing on the development and transformation of the Western Balkans region into an economic zone providing movement without borders.

Florensa Haxhi currently holds the position of Director of Business Development at the Albanian Investment Corporation (AIC) and is responsible for creating successful and sustainable business models for the projects that AIC intends to develop by combining private and public sector experience to develop public assets for the economic development of the country.
