“Today, every student who graduates from this Academy is not only an officer of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania, but also of the Armed Forces of the largest and most professional Alliance known to history, that of NATO. And I believe that there is no greater appreciation for your work rather than the fact that the military men and women who have gone through this academy have managed to represent us in a very dignified way, honoring us and the country, in the NATO staffs and missions,” addressed the Defence Minister to the Academy's lecturers.
Minister Xhaçka emphasized the opportunities offered to every young person to conduct a career within the Armed Forces bringing into attention the seeing off new recruits to the Troop School in Bunavi some days ago.
“History is full of cases in the Armed Forces where endless amounts of money have been spent on equipments and armaments, but not invested in people, talent, professionalism, inspiration and meritocracy, and the Armed Forces are undoubtedly boys and girls, men and women who choose to devote their life to the army. Therefore, the construction of the Armed Forces that is worthy of a NATO member country, has nowhere else to start but from this academy, you and your tireless work,” - said Minister Xhaçka.
