Coastal shooting drills by Naval Force ships

Naval Forces ships and their crew tested their ability to protect themselves against threats that might come from the ground.
For two days, seven ship out of the Albanian Naval Force and about 110 members of their respective crew, held military maneuvers in the Bay of Vlora, Sazan Island and west of the peninsula.
The main element of these maneuvers was the coastal shoots for which artillery gun of caliber 20 mm were used, installed onto the "Iliria" class patrol vessels, 12.7 mm caliber machine guns and a light machine gun, 7.62 mm caliber. The results reached by the "Illyria" class patrol vessel with artillery gun of caliber 20 mm, completely computerized, were impressive, while the lighter machine guns of smaller vessels with 12.7 and 7.62 mm, despite waving, showed a high level of preparation.
The coastal shooting took place at the eponymous place, west of the Karaburun Peninsula, and headed by Pashaliman Navy Marine Commander, 1st Rank Captain Adnand Agastra.
During this exercise, specific attention was given to classified communication tools used during ships communication, achieving successful relations with respect to all radio stations and all ships.
For the realization of coastal shooting, measures were taken to ensure the region and a radio call was made to civilian vessels, in order to avoid sailing in the area.
