Personnel Recruiting Center Celebrates 12th Anniversary of Creation, Petro Koçi: Human Capacity Our Priority

Personnel Recruiting Center (PRC) one of the most important structures in the Armed Forces, celebrated the 12th Anniversary of its creation. A ceremony was organized at the premises of the Ministry of Defense.
Attending the event, Defence Deputy Minister Petro Koçi, besides thanking all the staff for the hard work, he stated that the center will continue to be modernized with more modern and faster application systems serving the military. He also paid particular attention to the development of human capacity of the Armed Forces, which he considered a priority.

"Human capacity management in the Armed Forces is a priority and is also a special part of the revision of the Defense Strategy. Therefore the center's responsibilities will continue to grow. I am glad that today we are at this stage of the center and this is of course due to the leaders over the years", - said Koçi.

During this ceremony, PRC was awarded the Medal of "Distinguished Department", while Lieutenant Colonel, Valentina Laze with the "Medal of Honor" and Captain Edison Kaja with the "Fighting Medal".
The Commander of the Recruitment Personnel Center, Colonel Isuf Hamati in his speech said that thanks to the cooperation and agreement of the Ministry of Defense with Posta Shqiptare, it was possible to improve the quality of service, to apply and receive necessary answers and documentation at the applicant's residence, at any office of Posta Shqiptare, eliminating this way the expenses for military effectives in reserve, released, retired and their families. Meanwhile, he announced that very soon this service will be part of the services provided on official government electronic portals to be recognized and used by citizens and state institutions online at any time.

The History of the Personal Recruitment Center (PRC) starts on June 22, 2007.

Reforming the Armed Forces in the framework of NATO membership and their structural standardization led to the creation of a new staff structure, which would have the mission to recruit active soldiers and administer the military personnel files of the Armed Forces. In its structure there are already 12 Mobility Recruitment Centers in the Regions.
