The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Albania clarifies the public that the information published in the press on March 27, 2014, is not the official stance of this institution and of the Albanian government.

The assessments and opinions of the National Centre of Security and Defence (NCSD) do not constitute at any moment the official stance of the Ministry of Defence. These assessments have individual research character and do not also express the NCSD stance.

Regarding the official stance on relations with Russia and recent developments in international relations, the Ministry of Defence expresses its official stance through its own communication by official representatives in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry and NATO.
