Defence Minister Kodheli at the Vilnius Conference 2014

Defence Minister Mrs. Mimi Kodheli is on an official visit to Lithuania on the occasion of the conference “NATO Open Door: Ten Years after the ‘Big Bang’”, which is being held in Vilnius, Lithuania on April 3-4.
The conference is attended by the Defence and Foreign Ministers of: Belgium, Georgia, Slovenia, Baltic countries, U.S-Adriatic Charter (A-5) member and observer countries.

On the first day of the conference, all the ministers of Defence and Foreign Affairs discussed about NATO Open Door Policy.
While on the second day of the conference, Defence Minister Mrs. Mimi Kodheli will hold meeting with the Minister of National Defence of Lithuania, Mr. Jouzas Olekas. The topics that will be discussed at this meeting are: NATO issues; security situation in Europe, and international operations.
