The "NATO Resilience Expert Consultation Meeting" takes place

 

On September 17-18, a consultative meeting with NATO experts on Resilience was held at the Ministry of Defense.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff, the National Civil Emergency Agency, the Ministry for Relations with Parliament, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, the Ministry of Interior and the State Police, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Health, and other institutions.

During the meeting, discussions with NATO experts focused on the current progress and challenges in the field of Resilience, which is a key element in NATO’s defense planning. NATO experts emphasized the growing importance of resilience and the civil aspect in carrying out operations during times of conflict or crisis.

The experts highlighted the broad scope of resilience and the critical need for coordination between institutions to create synergy at a national level in order to successfully meet the seven core requirements of resilience. Additionally, they shared advice and best practices from their respective countries for consideration in fulfilling Resilience requirements.

In conclusion, the experts expressed their appreciation for the organization of this event, which they saw as a clear indicator of our country’s commitment to meeting its obligations in the field of Resilience.
