Minister Vengu inaugurates the reconstructed Personnel Recruitment Center

Defence Minister Pirro Vengu, accompanied by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Arben Kingji, visited the newly reconstructed building of the Personnel Recruitment Center (PRC), which now offers modern and functional conditions for daily operations.

The reconstruction, completed in less than a year, covered an area of 3,700 square meters and brought substantial improvements to all facilities. The project focused on modernizing the infrastructure, improving working conditions, and increasing efficiency in serving both personnel and citizens.

The Personnel Recruitment Center now also provides digital services through its Online Services Office. In the past month alone, more than 4,000 services have been delivered across seven categories, serving active-duty military personnel, veterans, civilian staff, and citizens who have completed military service.

Minister Vengu praised the work accomplished and emphasized the importance of providing dignified conditions for staff:

“I am pleased to see that you are now operating in rehabilitated facilities. One of our key responsibilities is to ensure proper career development. We must continue digitalizing processes so that recruitment, training, and certification are carried out transparently and efficiently.” said Minister Vengu.

He further underlined that digitalization and meritocracy remain central pillars of the ongoing Defence reform:

“With improved infrastructure and the automation of several processes, we will strengthen the belief that this institution operates on merit-based principles, ensuring that everyone receives the opportunities they truly deserve.”

This investment represents a significant step toward raising professional standards and reaffirms the Personnel Recruitment Center’s commitment to offering high-quality, transparent services aligned with contemporary Armed Forces standards.
