In her remarks, Deputy Minister Abrazhda focused on Albania’s ongoing efforts to advance its defence priorities in line with the outcomes of the Hague Summit.

Concluding her address, Deputy Minister Abrazhda called for stronger political attention and a more visible NATO military presence in the Western Balkans, as a deterrent to potential security risks in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.

She further emphasized the importance of bringing the discussion on Kosovo’s NATO integration back to the agenda, describing it as a key step toward ensuring lasting security and stability in the region.

“Albania welcomes NATO’s growing role and engagement in deepening its relations with Kosovo, whose aspiration remains full Euro-Atlantic integration.” - she concluded.
