Urgent Notice – Immediate Evacuation

Due to severe flooding and immediate risk to life and health, an immediate evacuation is ordered for residents of the following areas:

  • Novoselë Administrative Unit, Municipality of Vlorë

  • Sukth and Katund i Ri Administrative Units, Municipality of Durrës

  • Ferras Administrative Unit, Municipality of Fier

The evacuation is carried out in coordination with the National Civil Protection Agency (NCPA), the Prefect of the respective Region, and municipal Civil Emergency structures.

The Mayor is the authority responsible for ordering the evacuation within the municipality.

Priority will be given to:

  • Children

  • Elderly persons

  • Persons with disabilities

  • Families in isolated areas

Evacuation transport is provided by:

  • Municipal vehicles

  • Fire Protection and Rescue Service (MZSH)

  • Armed Forces

Temporary accommodation and assistance will be managed by the municipality in cooperation with the State Police, healthcare services, and social services.

Evacuees will be registered upon arrival. Basic needs, medical assistance, and regular situation updates will be provided.

This notice is effective immediately.
