Notice on the situation caused by adverse weather conditions in the country

Due to intense rainfall, river levels have risen in several regions, causing flooding of agricultural land and residential areas, landslides, infrastructure damage, and road blockages.

The most affected regions are Shkodër, Lezhë, Durrës, Fier, Berat, and Gjirokastër. Civil Protection structures and the Armed Forces, under the coordination of the National Civil Protection Agency and the Ministry of Defence, are deployed on the ground to manage the emergency, carry out evacuations where necessary, and minimize damage.

Flooding, landslides, and road blockages have been reported in multiple areas, with evacuations carried out in Vlorë, Lezhë, and Durrës. Other regions remain under monitoring.

Residents in affected areas are urged to follow the instructions of local authorities, avoid unnecessary travel, especially in flooded or landslide-prone zones, and report any emergency situations immediately.

The situation is under continuous monitoring,and all responsible structures remain on full alert.
