15 Armed Forces officers promoted; Defence Minister Vengu: A deserved acknowledgement of dedication and professionalism

The Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania successfully concluded the competitive evaluation and promotion process, resulting in the promotion of 15 officers.

The promotion ceremony was held at the Ministry of Defence for military personnel holding the ranks of Colonel, Lieutenant Colonel, and other officer grades serving within the General Staff of the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defence.

The event was attended by the Defence Minister, Pirro Vengu, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Arben Kingji, senior officials of the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff, members of the Armed Forces, and family members.

In his address, Defence Minister Vengu described the promotion ceremony as a significant occasion and commended the professionalism, dedication, and steadfast service of the promoted officers. He stressed that the new ranks signify not only increased responsibility, but also a well-earned recognition of the contributions made by Albanian military personnel in fulfilling missions both domestically and abroad, in service of national security and the homeland.
