Defence Minister Kodheli pays homage at the Martyrs’ Cemetery

This morning, on the occasion of May 5, the day of the Martyrs of Homeland, the Minister of Defence, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli and Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo paid homage and placed wreaths at the monument “Mother Albania” at the Cemetery of the Martyrs of Homeland.
After the ceremony, in front of the monument “Mother Albania”, Defence Minister Kodheli and Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Bazo paid homage and placed wreaths at the grave of the Martyrs of Homeland, Captain Feti Vogli, which fell in the line of duty while carrying out peacekeeping mission in Kandahar, Afghanistan, on February 20, 2012.
Minister Kodheli and Major General Bazo paid homage at the graves the former pilots who have served in the Armed Forces and have given their lives in the line of duty.
Later, they met the family members and relatives of the Armed Forces martyrs, who had come to pay homage and commemorate their relatives.
