The Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces continue litter collection along the coastline

Following the litter collection action along the coastline with the motto, “Albania belong to us all, let’s keep it clean”, the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff of the Armed Forces joined today the action for litter collection along the coastal areas of southern Albania.
The Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo closely inspected the action of the Armed Forces troops in Dhërmi. In his speech, Major General Jeronim Bazo said: “We are successfully continuing the second phase of litter collection and it is very important for the community to cooperate and become part of the action.”
In the second week of the action, the Armed Forces personnel were committed with troops and vehicles respectively in the beach of Zvërnec with 100 troops and 5 vehicles; in Vlora, with 150 troops and 9 vehicles; in Radhima, with 150 troops and 9 vehicles; in Orikum, with 150 troops and 9 vehicles; in Palasa, with 100 troops and 6 vehicles; in Dhërmi, with 100 troops and 4 vehicles; in Himara, with 100 troops and 5 vehicles; in Jala, with 50 troops and 4 vehicles; in Qeparo, with 80 troops and 4 vehicles; in Borsh, with 100 troops and 5 vehicles; in Kakome, with 50 troops and 3 vehicles.
In total, during today’s action, spread out from the beach of Zvernec to Kakome, the Armed Forces committed over 1,000 troops and 60 vehicles.
