Defence Minister Kodheli invited to the celebrations of the 100-th anniversary of World War I

The Minister of Defence, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli took part today at the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of World War I. In this occasion, about 76 representatives of countries from the world travelled to France. On this remarkable day for the French people, in commemoration of 100th anniversary of World War I, the military parade, “A strong and modern army”, was held at the Champs-Eliysees Boulevard.
Among the many flags of different countries of the world, for the first time, the Albanian Flag marched in this parade, while Defence Minister Kodheli followed the military parade, being invited at the parade, amongst many of her counterparts, at the central tribune of this parade in Paris.
During this event, Defence Minister Kodheli had a meeting with the Minister of Ecology, Energy and Sustainable Development of France, Ms. Ségolène Royal, and with the President of the National Assembly of France, Mr. Claude Bartolone. She held a conversation with the Minister of Defence of Slovenia, Mr. Roman Jakič, with the Minister of Defence of Croatia, Mr. Ante Kotromanović, and with the Minister of Defence of Italy, Ms. Roberta Pinotti.
