Minister Kodheli decorates the Italian Defence Attaché

The Minister of Defence, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli, in a ceremony organized this morning at the Ministry of Defence, decorated the Italian Defence Attaché in Tirana, Brigadier General Vitto Dell’Edera, who finished his mission in this office.

Minister Kodheli handed to the Italian military the Medal of Gratitude with the motivation, for his contribution given through the work as a defence attaché in Albania to strengthen the bilateral relations in Defence between the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Italy. On this occasion, Minister Kodheli praised the work and contribution of Brigadier General Dell’Edera to enhance and strengthen the level of cooperation between Albania and Italy in Defence, and thanked for comprehensive support the Italian Armed Forces has given to the Armed Forces of Albania. She wished to General Dell’Edera further successes in his military career.
“I wish your career may continue with important assignments within the Armed Forces of Italy, but also in international missions and commitments. You will always be welcomed in Albania, not just as a military, but also as a good friend”, - stated in the conclusion of the ceremony, Defence Minister Kodheli.

Brigadier General Vitto Dell’Edera thanked the Defence Minister Kodheli for the assessment of his work and contribution as defence attaché in Tirana, expressing high consideration for the good cooperation he had, all the time, as defence attaché in Albania with the Ministry of Defence, General Staff and Armed Forces.
