Defence Minister Kodheli inspects the Armed Forces’ Troop School in Bunavi

The Minister of Defence, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli, accompanied by Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo, inspected today the Troop School of the Armed Forces, in Bunavi, Vlora.

Minister Kodheli was welcomed by Chief of Staff of the military unit, Lieutenant Colonel Vilson Bufazi, who briefed her on the work done by the school to fulfil the tasks and objectives of this year, on the achievements during the training process, situation of the infrastructure and equipment used during this process, and on the problems and difficulties encountered during the everyday work.

Minister Kodheli, after being informed about these problems, assigned the duty to review and further improve the infrastructure, as well as the possibility of an intervention to improve the road connecting the national road with this military unit, requesting for this intervention the relevant cost estimates. She also prescript that during the daily activity of the military troops in the training centre, noise pollution must be reduced in order to avoid concerns to the community of the surrounding area.

Later, Minister Kodheli and General Bazo visited the living facilities and infrastructure of this unit, and met with the military and civilian personnel serving at Troop School of the our Armed Forces.
