Defence Minister Kodheli meeting with the Air Force pilots

The Minister of Defence, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli had this morning a meeting with the Air Force’s pilots, who were attacked during the anti-cannabis operation in the North of the country.
Minister Kodheli thanked them for the outstanding work they have done in this very important operation for the security of the country. “With full confidence, I say that not just the Armed Forces, but all the Albanians are proud of you. You are the best example for the Albanian society. The good and evil have confronted each other for centuries, but we will continue to be on the side of right and good”, - said Minister Kodheli.
At the meeting attended the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo, the Air Force Commander, Brigadier General Frederik Beltoja and other senior representatives of the Ministry of Defence and General Staff. In his speech, the Air Force Commander, Brigadier General Frederik Beltoja, on behalf of pilots who took part in the operation and on behalf of the Air Force Command said that “the bullets hit the metal, but not our courage and desire to continue our fight to establish order and the rule of law.”
