The Military Police, for the second day, responded to the request of the Albanian Red Cross, Tirana branch, for blood donation to help the children with thalassemia. Around 150 militaries, officers, NCOs, professional soldiers and civilian employees of the Military Police donated blood, in response to this sensitization.
For the Military Police, blood donation for children in need is a permanent ritual under the motto, “Donate Blood, Save Life”. Even this year, the Military Police was the first institution that responded to the Red Cross request, considering the difficult period to supply with blood the children in need.
The Military Police, as part of the Armed Forces, is in service of the country and its citizens, and in this context, blood donation is one of the most noble and human manner through which we fulfil our mission in peacetime.
