Friendly match between the representatives of the AAF and KSF

In the framework of the bilateral cooperation between the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania and the Security Force of the Republic of Kosovo, at the national stadium “Qemal Stafa” took place this afternoon a friendly match between the football team of the Albanian Armed Forces (AAF) and of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF).

In this sportive activity attended Defence Minister Mrs. Mimi Kodheli, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo, KSF Commander, Lieutenant General Kadri Kastrati and a large number of military and civilian employees of the Armed Forces, representatives of KSF, as well as plenty of sports fans of the Capital.

The Minister of Defence, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli greeted the participating teams, as well as all the other participants who had filled the stadium “Qemal Stafa” to attend this friendly match. Minister Kodheli especially thanked the KSF football team for the satisfaction they gave with their presence in the fraternal and sportive match. She also thanked the Albanian Football Federation, which made possible the organization of this match at the national stadium “Qemal Stafa”, which regardless of the current situation, still remains our national pride. At the end of her speech, Minister Kodheli wished success to both teams, wishing for the best to win.
The participating teams and the other participants in the match were also greeted by the KSF Commander, Lieutenant General Kadri Kastrati.

During the match, along with demonstrating good technical-sportive skills and high combative spirit, it also took the eye of the warm fraternal spirit between both teams representing our two countries and armies.
The friendly match between the AAF representative and KSF representative ended with the score 1-1, after the penalties, victory went to representatives of the Albanian Armed Forces. The first meeting was held in June in Pristine and ended with the score 0-0.
In the end, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo and KSF Commander, Lieutenant General Kadri Kastrati handed the cup to the winning team.
