The Ministry of Defence and Posta Shqiptare signed today an agreement of cooperation, which increases transparency and offers faster and qualitative service to the citizens. The agreement was signed by the Minister of Defence, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli and the General Director of Posta Shqiptare, Mr. Majlind Lazimi. Through this agreement, assistance will be provided to a category of high importance, which are the Armed Forces or to all those who serve in the military system, as well as to their families. The provision of the service through Posta Shqiptare avoids corruption, reduces bureaucratic procedures and the time of getting this service.

For the Minister of Defence, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli, this agreement should have been signed a long time ago, but unfortunately it was not. The agreement will serve to militaries part of the Armed Forces, and to those who are retired from the Armed Forces. It should be extended to the whole country and it will increase the quality of services. With the signature of this agreement, bureaucracy, corruption and torment of the people, who must come here, their costs and ours, all together, are eliminated, said Mrs. Kodheli.

While the General Director of Posta Shqiptare, Mr. Lazimi said, for us it is a pleasure to have partnership with public institutions, such as the Ministry of Defence, and I believe this will be a success story for Posta Shqiptare, which has been and will be always at the service of citizens, and in this case even at the service of the militaries.

This service will be now available in 35 cities of the country, in 50 post offices. In this way, Posta Shqiptare saves the time of the citizens and former militaries, at the same time, it offers them a more economical service, by applying a unique tariff of 150 Leke (ALL) through the whole procedure of actions.
