Kodheli awarded the “Medal of Gratitude” to the former President Mr. Moisiu

Defence Minister Kodheli awarded the “Medal of Gratitude” to the former President of the Republic of Albania, at once the higher rank ex-military, Mr. Alfred Moisiu. On that occasion the Ministry of Defence organized a special event which was attended by the Defence Minister, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli; the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo; MPs, higher rank militaries and also senior soldiers of the Ministry of Defence and General Staff etc.

Mr Alfred Moisiu, joined the military when he was 15 years old and for over 40 years he held with dignity the military uniform. Mr. Moisiu was named Defence Deputy Minister and further Minister of Defence. During 2002 - 2007 he took office as President of the Republic of Albania.
