After the prearranged welcoming, Minister Kodheli announced the reopening of Defense Attaché Office in Tirana.

British Royal Air Force Aerobatic Squadron has offered an unusual show for the residents of Tirana. 11 aircrafts “BAE Systems Hawk” flew for a few moments on the Boulevard "Martyrs of the Nation" drawing the attention of the citizens of Tirana who had come out to enjoy the spectacle, between them also the Mayor Mr. Erion Veliaj. 

The event was organized by UK Embassy in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence and the Municipality of Tirana. On this occasion minister Kodheli met with the members of this squadron to whom she gave her warm welcome and thanked them for their presence. Minister Kodheli underlined the importance of the cooperation between Albania and the United Kingdom and expressed the need to enhance and strengthen this partnership. She also thanked the members of the British Air Force for their readiness in training and exercising Albanian pilots. “I hope that this cooperation will be strengthening even more. We have a lot of projects to be implemented, as it could be Biza.” – She said by making a very important announcement regarding the strengthening of relations and cooperation between two countries. “I may tell you that will reopen the Defence Attaché Office at the United Kingdom Embassy in Tirana. – Stated minister Kodheli.

Also on the "Mother Teresa" square, Albanian Air Force organized an "open day", where were exposed to citizens two of its newer aircrafts.

The so called show “Red Arrows” is part of the team’s annual exercise that is undertaken outside United Kingdom.  British Royal Air Force Aerobatic Squadron “Red Arrows” is one of the first aerobatic teams over the world. Squadron represents the speed, readiness, and accurateness of British Royal Air Force and is composed of pilots, engineers, and of experienced supporting staff.
