Albanian Air Force celebrates the 65 – anniversary of its establishment

Today, at the premises of Air Base in Kuçova, was commemorated the 65 - Anniversary of the Albanian Air Force.

At this event participated the Defence Minister of Albania Mrs. Kodheli, Minister of State for Relations with Parliament, Mrs. Ermonela Felaj, Chief of General Staff of the Albanian Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo, members of Parliament, of the Army, senior representatives of local government, military aviation veterans, families of martyrs and many guests.

After delivering the related speeches, the Air Force commander Brigadier General Vladimir Avdiaj, handed out certificates of gratitude for some of the veterans of this force.
The families of the latest Martyrs of Nation, Captain Floran Delia and Lieutenant Donald Hoxha, were handed a prototype of EC 145 helicopter, in memory of their passion.
At the end of the ceremony, Minister Kodheli thanked the representatives of the federations of aerospace of Albania and Kosovo, who also supported this activity.
