It is being honored the memory of the last two martyrs before resuming training flights

The wives of Farka Air Base pilots held a ceremony to honor the memory of the last two Martyrs of the Nation, Captain Floran Delia and Lieutenant Donald Hoxha. In this activity which took the immediate support of Farka Air Base Command were also present the families of the two pilots who lost their life in the line of duty.
To honor their memory, pilots’ wives chose to plant two olive trees as a symbol of peace and life, that were given the names of the two martyrs, and also they had a look to the other helicopter type EC-145 of Air Force.
On behalf of all the officers of Farka Air Base, the commander of this base, Colonel Kuto Hasani said that he was surprised by the pilots’ wives initiative and thanked them for the solidarity and the support that provide everyday their husbands.
Afterwards, the participants visited the room where pilots make their final preparations before flying; in the places of Captain Floran Delia and Lieutenant Donald Hoxha were placed two bunches of flowers.
On Wednesday, pilots of Farka Air Base are expected to resume their training scheduled flights, which were suspended since the crash of the helicopter EC-145 on 6 April of this year. During this period the pilots of this base have done only operational flights.
