"This bridge will connect and facilitate the movement of 5 administrative units. The students of the 4 schools in this area will have it easier to go to school and local residents will access the health care center easily. Let me thank the local authorities for their cooperation and I strongly believe that the result of this cooperation were all the good things that we have done here, and I hope that we will continue to do so for a long time, because this is for the benefit of the common people. Special thanks for the Armed Forces and for these boys who worked day and night to build this bridge. It is not easy, but the desire, the will, the confidence, dignity actually overcome every expectation to accomplish these kinds of constructions which really, help citizens often in difficulty due to the out-of-date infrastructure, or lack of investment. " - said Minister Kodheli.

On the other hand, Deputy Mayor of Mat Municipality, Mrs. Agnes Shema, praised the cooperation with the Ministry of Defense. "It is the first time that someone cooperates and I want to greet Mrs. Kodheli, in this occasion which is really a good opportunity for the citizens. It is the time to forget about politics and really think for the citizens as the Minister and Mat Municipality did."- she concluded

The bridge built over the river Tharbër is 24 meters long and has a capacity of about 10 tons. It connects Laç village to the main road and Urakë village with the center of Rukaj Administrative Unit. At the same time it significantly shortens the distance to the national road for villages Bruce, Remull and Prelle.
