Security in Kosovo, Kodheli and her Croatian counterpart send a letter to NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg

The Minister of Defence of Albania, Mrs. Kodheli and her Croatian counterpart Mr. Damir Krstičević who is also the Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia, have sent a letter to the Secretary General of NATO Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, regarding the latest security developments in Kosovo.
In their letter, Mrs. Kodheli and Mr. Krstičević condemn the nationalist rhetoric from Serbian politicians and their actions at the border, to threaten the sovereignty of the Republic of Kosovo and destabilize the security situation in Western Balkans.
The two ministers also request from Secretary Stoltenberg to revise the Operational Plan of Peacekeeping Mission in Kosovo following the latest developments there and support the transformation of Kosovo Security Force (KSF) in Armed Forces of Kosovo (FAK).
Ministers Kodheli and Krstičević conclude their letter expressing their commitment ensureing that the national and collective efforts will continue and will be focused to promote peace, dialogue and improve cooperation on security issues. – is stated among others things in the letter of Defence Ministers of Albania and Croatia.
