Continues the opening of Mobilization Offices across the country

During this week as part of ongoing steps to invigorate the reservist notion, the Defence Minister, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli participated in the event of opening the Mobilization Offices in Durrës, Berat and Lushnjë. Accompanied by the members of parliament and representatives of local government, Minister Kodheli announced presence of such offices in every county, believing that the reserve military men have been, are, and will be an important force and strata of the society in support of the active Armed Forces.

"Their presence in emergencies, in cases of search and rescue when it is required to have more troops on the ground, is necessary and indispensable. Their experience in specific occupations, the knowledge they have and their crafts that they have had in the Armed Forces, is also indispensable ", - stressed Mrs. Kodheli who also highlighted that this contribution will be rewarded by the Ministry of Defense.

At the same Minister Kodheli thanked the Support Command for the work done in restoration of reserve officers’ offices, for the construction of bridges in every corner of the country, building of new roads, crush and elimination of massive dangerous rocks and for any other presence that Support Command has had with its manpower in all cases of Civil Emergency or search and rescue.

Present at the opening of Mobilization Office in Kolonja, Lushnjë, member of the Commission on National Security in the Parliament, Mr. Arben Çuko, considered the opening of this office as very important, which he said would serve not only to assist people in emergencies, but also to give a kind of revitalization of this area .

Mobilization Office opened in Durrës, is located near the premises of the Navy Command, while in Berat, there will also be a linking office between Berat, Poliçan and Skrapar. Another office was also opened in Kolonjë, Lushnjë.

Mobilization offices across the country will be administered by reservists of the Armed Forces.
