Armed Forces have completed the work for the improvement of the infrastructure in some villages of the Administrative Unit of Komsi in Mat Municipality.
In Muzhakë village, the Armed Forces dug a drainage channel in order to avoid the annual flooding in a part of the village and agricultural land surrounding it. The channel, long 1,3 km, was clogged for almost 40 years was an early request of the inhabitants of this village and the Prefecture of Dibra.
At the completion of works there, was also present the Minister of Defence Mrs. Mimi Kodheli, that praised the work of the Armed Forces and the importance of the unclogging of this channel has for it residents.
After receiving the request the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces worked without stopping to unclog this channel which will avoid the flooding as the rainstorms and inundation are more than frequent in this area. Thanks to this extraordinary work in a record time, the villages that are around, especially Muzhaka, will have the opportunity to use the water for irrigating and not to move it away from their homes when it rains. Meanwhile Armed Forces built an 1 km road that enables the movement of the villages around in order to make possible fot the children to go to school or to make possible for people to go to health center,” said Minister Kodheli. During her speech she emphasized the determination of the Armed Forces to finish the works that they have undertaken.
In the Muzhaka village, the Administrative Unit of Komsi, the Armed Forces have also build a road that is 1 km long, which was previously a path and was traversed only by foot.
In this administrative unit, Frankth village, Armed Forces made possible the improvement and the opening of the road long 3, 5 km, which was often isolated because of the landslide. During the conversation with the residents of this village, Minister Kodheli assured them for the readiness that the Armed Forces will continue to demonstrate as many times as it will be necessary.
