The engagement of the Armed Forces in the fight against fires continues

The Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania continue uninterruptedly the fight against fires in all regions of the country.

Only in the last 24 hours 360 army officers, 19 vehicles, 13 firefighters and ambulances are engaged in the districts of Tirana, Vlora and Elbasan.

Yesterday, military forces have been aided by the Civil Emergencies in Dajt and Berzhite, the District of Tirana; in Dukat, Region of Vlora; as well as in Krasta, District of Elbasan. In these operations participated 190 Army forces, 15 vehicles and ambulances.

Meanwhile, today about 170 effectives, 6 fire fighters and 4 vehicles are struggling to extinguish fires in Dajti, District of Tirana; Dukat, Region of Vlora and Krasta District of Elbasan.

Ready to intervene at any moment that will be required are 50 servicemen from Bunavi, 50 forces in Burrel in aid of Debar district and 30 forces in Tirana.

The Armed Forces will continue to be on alert and will assist the community in any emergency.
