The Armed Forces continue from the north to the south to engage in the extinction of the fires

Albania's Armed Forces continue intensifying the efforts to extinguish the fires that have covered some of the country's districts which are favored by high temperatures, wind and difficult terrain.
Yesterday, 236 Armed Forces, part of the Support Command and Land Force, 15 vehicles, 4 firefighter engines and 3 ambulances were engaged in firefighting operations.
The largest number of Armed Forces officers are committed to extinguishing the fire in the village of Kuç, Vora Municipality, where they participated in the 96 operation, with 5 vehicles, 3 firefighters engines and 2 ambulances, because except the green space being covered by flames endangered is also a fireworks factory.
The Armed Forces are also engaged in the villages of Grapsh, Frashtan, Goricë and Jergucat in the municipality of Dropull, where have participated 45 and 2 vehicles.
Meanwhile 40 army forces and 2 vehicles have been engaged in the extinction of fires at the Ulza administrative unit in the Municipality of Mat.
55 forces, 2 vehicles and 1 ambulance have participated in the firefighting operation in the village of Gjinar, Municipality of Elbasan, where they made possible to control the flames.
The Armed Forces continue to be engaged even today in fire-places still active in several districts of the country and ready to respond to any emergency situation.
