Armed Forces in the field to extinguish fires with 180 forces, 11 vehicles and 2 firefighting vehicles

Being aware of the situation throughout the country, the Albanian Armed Forces continue to be engaged in fire extinguishing in all regions of the country.

During the last 24 hours, on the request of the Civilian Emergency Office, to extinguish fires in some of the regions, the Armed Forces have engaged 180 forces, 11 vehicles and 2 firefighting vehicles (from Support Command and Land Forces).

These forces are operating in the following Administrative Units and regions:

- there are 70 forces and 5 vehicles in Skuraj Administrative Unit (Kurbin),
- 20 forces and 1 firefighting vehicle in Perlat Administrative Unit (Mirditë),
- 20 forces and 2 vehicles in Gurë e Madhe Administrative Unit (Klos), 
- In Finiq Municipality (Sarandë), there are 40 forces and 1 firefighting vehicle,
- there are 30 forces and 3 vehicles in Bulqiza Administrative Unit.

At the moment, there are 7 fire spots all over the country. The situation related to fires is under control due to the permanent cooperation with the Civilian Emergency Office. However, the Armed Forces remain on alert and ready to operate whenever it is necessary.
