Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku takes the oath as the Chief of Staff of the Albanian Armed Forces

 

Today in the premises of the Presidency took place the oath ceremony of the new Chief of Staff of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania, Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku.

The President of the Republic of Albania, Ilir Meta, Defense Minister Mimi Kodheli, senior executives and senior military officers of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces, military attaches of NATO countries etc. attended the ceremony.

Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku expressed his gratitude for the new task he was entrusted with. At the same time, he expressed his commitment to the successful fulfillment of this noble mission.

President Meta congratulated General Kollçaku on his assignment. He also expressed his gratitude and high consideration for men and women in uniform who have contributed and continue to contribute with countless devotions and sacrifices for the defense of the country and our national interests during the 105 years of the Albanian State.

The President of the Republic also thanked the Albanian servicemen who are on mission abroad as well as their colleagues who are contributing with self-sacrifice for the extinction of fires or other civil emergencies in order to serve to our citizens.
