Joint performance of the Albania Armed Forces Wind Orchestra and UK Corps of Army Music

In an event organized at Skanderbeg Square in Tirana, Albania Armed Forces Wind Orchestra performed a concert with UK Corps of Army Music, CAMUS, which is on a 2 - week visit to Albania. This concert has attended by the Deputy Minister of Defence Petro Koçi, representatives of British Embassy and also representatives of Tirana Municipality.

As a continuation of the training between U.K and Albania, nine British musicians from the Band of the Prince of Wales's Division, has undertaken a 2 - week training to Albania starting from November 1, 2017. British musicians train together with the Albanian Armed Forces Band as part of their tour, therefore the Office of the British Defence Attaché in Tirana organized this interesting and specific concert for the Albanian public.

At the end of their performance, AFWO members were also greeted by Deputy Minister of Defense Petro Koci, who thanked and wished for other collaborations.

UK Corps of Army Music (CAMUS) regularly visits the region for bilateral or regional-wide training. Musicians from the regional orchestras of the Armed Forces play together and perform musical performances led by CAMUS. Such an initiative was defined as "Balkan All Star Band". The final music group has musicians from different Balkan countries.
