Minister Xhaçka with Albanian troops in Afghanistan: “You have made us proud!”

During her stay in Kabul, Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka met with Albanian military members at NATO's RSM Headquarters and at Hamid Karzai International Airport, where Contingent VI is carrying out its mission.

"We are all grateful for your contribution and your dignified representation alongside other NATO allied countries. On this eve of 105th Anniversary of Declaration of Independence, it is an extraordinary emotion that I am here to convey my and the Rama Government support for you and your families. You make us proud every day here in Afghanistan, as well as every Armed Forces member at home and abroad!" - said the Minister, during the festive ceremony on the occasion of November holidays.

Through a connection live from Tirana, Prime Minister Rama stated that although not enough has been done for Albanian military members on mission abroad, the Government's attention to them is maximal.
