The business helps the flooded families. 40 tons of goods delivered at the special center of the Armed Forces

40 tones of food and other goods were deposited today at the Reception and Assistance Administration Center in support of families affected a few days ago by bad weather. Through this initiative, "Business Albania" forum, aims not only to help residents, but also to create a business tradition of helping the community in emergencies. The delivery of 30 tons of food for families, 10 tons of food for livestock and 10 tons of refrigerated food was made at a special ceremony, attended by: Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka, State Secretary for Enterprise Protection Sonila Qato, president of "Business Albania" Luan Bregasi and a group of business leaders in our country. The Minister Xhaçka, praised the initiative and ensured transparency in the distribution, in all areas affected by the floods.

"I want to assure you that your contributions and your donations will be distributed in a very transparent way, based on the real needs people have. Along with the Armed Forces, and not only the first days after the flood, we continue day and night to be present, and we will continue to be for the full recovery of all those who have suffered the consequences of a ruthless extreme weather. We just returned from Delvina, where we built a bridge, connecting thousands of inhabitants who, due to the flood and the destruction of the bridge failed to communicate with the main national axes. We are also finishing a bridge in Dropull and we will continue to be where it needs to improve infrastructure and restore the whole situation to normal, for all those who have been affected by floods", - said Minister Xhaçka in her speech.

Assistance came after the appeal made two weeks ago by the State Minister for Entrepreneurship Protection, which required the solidarity of entrepreneurs to those families that, due to the floods that hit the country, are in difficult conditions.
"The cooperation of my office, entrepreneurship and the Ministry of Defense will be ongoing, for every need that the Ministry of Defense will have in managing such emergency situations," said Minister Qato.

President of "Biznes Albania", Luan Bregasi said that the Albanian business will continue to contribute to such emergency situations.

"I would like to promise the two ministers, but also to Prime Minister Rama that the Albanian business will always be ready to contribute, because the people who are flooded are our families, our customers, our consumers and we will be there to help in these difficult days."

The distribution of goods, the business contribution, will begin in the coming days based on the demands coming from local government in areas affected by emergencies earlier this month.
