Armed Forces close to residents affected by flooding in Shkodra

The Armed Forces continue to be engaged uninterruptedly in coping with flooding in the Sub-Shkodra area.
A team from Tirana's regional support battalion with sailing vessels and high traversability was sent in support of the first infantry battalion of Vau i Dejës.
In Dajç village, military of First Infantry Battalion (1stIB) urgently transported to the regional hospital in Shkodra a 27 - year - old man with health problems, who suffered a respiratory insufficiency and had an urgent need for oxygen.
In the village of Obot of the administrative unit of Ana e Malit, the movement was possible only by means of sailing vehicles and the military of Regional Support Brigade (RSB), have transported the inhabitants to the main road, while the teaching process in this area has been suspended.
In Dajç, students and teachers are transported because the segment connecting this village to the main road is flooded and cannot be crossed by cars.
In Dajç village transport of small livestock from houses or stables being at risk of flood was carried out as well.
During the night, the Armed Forces in cooperation with the municipality also participated in the evacuation of the Roma community camp, transporting children to Community Center No. 4, while adults at the open center especially in Bërdicë, which was raised in case of deterioration of the situation and where earlier the military men of AFAF and vehicles transported the necessary material support.
