Bulgary, Albanian commandos admirable representation in multinational exercise

3rd Platoon personnel of the 1st Company, Commando Battalion, took part in the multinational "Platinum Lion 2018" security exercise from 30th of July to 8th of August. The training was held at Novo Selo Training Area in Bulgaria, eight NATO members as well as countries part of PfP program were part of the exercise.

"Platinum Lion 2018" aims at increasing interoperability and strengthening relationships with allied forces in a joint training environment.

Platoon Command, headed by Lieutenant Ernest Selmani during the training, showed high professional skills scoring maximum marks for competence actions and discipline throughout tactical exercises including: live-fire squad attacks, combat marksmanship using US Navy weapons, MG240, 50cal, first aid actions, patrolling procedures, and evacuating injured people (MedEvac 9 Line Request).

Commando troops, who successfully completed this international exercise, just like all the other times managed to keep up their good work by making the Armed Forces and our country proud.
