After the fire started in Semani Forest in Fier, an Air Force helicopter was urgently sent to the scene. AF's "Cougar" helicopters were equipped two months ago with Bambi Bucket of 2500 liters capacity.
The new 2500 liter Bambi Bucket each, increase the capacity of the Armed Forces of seven times compared to the previous year, when the private service was contracted for the extinction of fires.
The increased capacity, thanks to new devices mounted on helicopters, is also enabled through longer flight hours that Cougar helicopters operate.
The helicopter of the AAF is in action and is working to extinguish fires in cooperation with the Fire Department.
