Dibra District, the Armed Forces continue to aid the inhabitants affected by earthquake

Following the putting up of tents, the Armed Forces have started distributing food and material basis in the most affected villages by the earthquake that struck Dibra District. The Armed Forces have distributed around 200 beds, blankets, and material basis in the municipalities of Mat, Bulqiza and Klos.
The Armed Forces are also distributing food packages, so that those affected can find it easier to cope with these difficult days.
The aid was provided by the Armed Forces in cooperation with the State Material Reserves. Since May 11th earthquake, the Armed Forces have been offering support for the inhabitants. Just a few days ago, the Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka paid them a visited, and she closely inspected the situation and held several meetings with families in the villages of Vinjoll and Dukagjin, where the epicenter of the earthquake was, and consequently more than 20 families have been sheltered for many days in tents raised by the Armed Forces.
Meanwhile, earlier on there was also the General Director of Civil Emergencies, Haki Çako who made an inspection of the situation since the first days. On the part of the Prefect of Dibra district, legal procedures were carried out in cooperation with the General Directorate of Civil Emergencies, which enabled the sending of tents after the preliminary assessment.
