The 10-th Contingent of the Navy Force departs for the NATO Operation “Sea Guardian”

The departure ceremony of the 10-th Contingent of the Navy Force to NATO Operation “Sea Guardian” in the Aegean Sea took place at the Navy Force Command premises in Durrës.
The ceremony was attended by Navy Force Commander, Major General Ylber Dogjani, directors of the MoD and General Staff and family members of "Oriku" crew members.
Commander of the Navy Force, Major General Ylber Dogjani while congratulating the members of the new contingent to have a successful mission and a safe return home said among other things: "Let me express my exceptional gratitude for the commitment shown in the mission which is in charge of monitoring the Albanian sea space, carrying out search and rescue operations and the performance shown in the management of the Aegean migrant crisis in the first two contingents you participated in."
He also assured them that they will receive a continued support during their service in the operation area where they will serve.
Further on, the ceremony proceeded with the symbolic handover of the National Flag by the Commander of the Navy Force to the commander of Contingent X, Commander III Silvan Boni, who will lead this contingent until its return on November 20, 2018.
