On the premises of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, was held the promotion ceremony for Brigadier General Albert Mullai and Major General Nazmi Cahani.
The Defence Minister attending this ceremony, stated that the two generals have shown prominent professionalism, integrity and dedication throughout their work.
"Under MG Cahan's leadership, the Land Forces have achieved significant results, among which I would mention, the tireless work and the successful certification of the Light Infantry’s Group Battalion as well as engagements in Civil Emergencies. Likewise, the NCO Academy, under the direction of BG Mullai, has been transformed into an efficient institution for the education and training of the NCO's corps, so important for the AF mission."
At the same time, Minister Xhaçka emphasized that creating equal opportunities and meritocracy in career development of AAF staff would be one of the non-negotiable priorities.
Major General Nazmi Cahani with a 32 - year military experience currently holds the position of the Commander of the Land Force, while Brigadier General Albert Mullai with a 30 - year experience, hold the position of the Commander of the NCO Academy.
