Children of the 1st Infantry’s Battalion servicemen celebrate the festivities under the special care of MoD

Under the special care of the Minister of Defence and the Center of Culture, the children of the 1-st Infantry Battalion servicemen in Vau Dejë participated in a specially organized event on the occasion of the festive season.

The children shared songs, poems and jokes, while they were also entertained by animators and their adorable characters.
In the celebration took part the Defence Deputy Minister Petro Koçi and the Chief of General Staff, Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku.

Mr. Koçi said that because of the everyday routine we cannot understand the power and strength of the children: "Imagine if the holidays were without children, they would be dull. Cause children have the strength and the power of joy and they are able to bring it up under whatever condition. And it is our duty to support them, because at the end the children guarantee the future of human mankind."

Although not present at the celebration, the Minister Xhaçka brought her greetings addressing to the children and military men of this battalion a post card where she wished them for the festive season.

Gifts for all the children of b1k's troops were distributed at the end.
Part of this celebration also became one of the oldest battalion's staff men, Kiço Deçi, who was surprised by the Defence Deputy Minister and all the partecipants, wishing him many happy returns to the day.
