Medals awarded to 26 military service members and civilians from AAF, Xhaçka: the man is the greatest asset of AAF

 

There is a fact that should not be denied but repeated loudly: no matter how we try to modernize the Armed Forces, no matter how much temporary deficiencies we have in our work, nothing and no one can replace the greater asset that the Armed Forces have, and this is its people.

Minister Xhaçka mentioned also the military achievements during 2018, by emphasizing the Bronze Medal that Commandos won in the international training “Cambrian Patrol”. 

“Every Albanian is proud of you for your trainings and competitions with other allied armies like British Army, where you were rated as one of the three best teams alongside those who have greatest experience or bigger budget in their countries.” – said minister Xhaçka.

23 servicemen and 3 civilians were awarded: those who have distinguished themselves by acts of “bravery, courage and prominent contribution” were the recipients of the Medal of Honor; the ones who have distinguished themselves “for special values in enhancing the image of the AAF" were the recipients of Medal of Gratitude, the distinguished “for above and beyond the call of duty" were the recipients of Medal for Outstanding Achievement and for "superior meritorious service in carrying out assigned tasks" were the recipients of Defence Superior Service Medal.
